Family getaways & get-togethers
Happy children, safe and sound — and relaxed parents in the countryside.
At the Résidence Hôtel Les Ducs de Chevreuse, we know that a successful family holiday rests on a delicate balance: space for the children to let off steam, and peace and quiet for the parents to rest. Our 1.5-hectare enclosed estate of greenery and relaxation, completely free of cars, is a safe playground where your children can run freely on the lawns.
Your “Tribe” accommodation: the spirit of a family home, with service on top
Forget impersonal interconnecting hotel rooms. Our F2 and F3 duplex Suites (40 to 60 m²) are designed to sleep up to 6 people:
- Everyone has their own space: parents enjoy their privacy upstairs while the children settle comfortably into their own space on the ground floor.
- A real kitchen, “just like home”: with your fully equipped kitchenette (hob, large fridge, microwave), make the little ones’ meals whenever you like, handle night-time bottles and organise friendly snack times without depending on a restaurant’s constraints.
The family “extras” that make the difference
- Stress-free breakfast: no need to wake everyone up in time for the buffet. Your breakfast basket is discreetly hung on your door at the time you choose. The children can eat in their pyjamas, at their own pace.
- Self-service laundry: a chocolate stain, trousers covered in mud after building a den in the woods? Our laundry room (washing machines and tumble dryers) wipes away the day’s little accidents in no time.
- Baby kit on request: travel cot and high chair available, so you can travel lighter.
All around us: a paradise for explorers big and small
The residence is the ideal starting point to delight your children:
- Château de Breteuil (7 km, 9 min): the château of Charles Perrault’s famous fairy tales. Your children will meet Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood and Donkeyskin in the heart of magnificent gardens.
- Nature on your doorstep: the far end of the park opens straight onto the state forest. Set off together to hunt for pine cones or track animals, without a single road to cross.
