Cycling, wheels & gliding
Your ideal stopover in the Chevreuse Valley, for everyone who loves freedom, the perfect line and the joy of gliding.
Whether you are a sportive rider, a motorcyclist on a road trip, a pilgrim on a tandem, a handbike trail rider or a fan of off-road rollerblading and scooter touring: the Upper Chevreuse Valley is your ultimate playground. From winding forest roads to the legendary 17 Tournants climb and our greenways, this area is made for anything on wheels.
At the Résidence Hôtel Les Ducs de Chevreuse, we welcome every kind of mobility. Our 1.5-hectare park and ground-floor facilities are perfectly suited to housing and pampering your machines, from the lightest to the bulkiest.
Aparthotel comfort: the key to good recovery
Forget the cramped space of a simple hotel room. Make the most of the room in our studio rooms and suites to spread out and dry your gear (leathers, suits, helmets, jerseys, protective kit):
- Self-service laundry: high-performance washing machines and tumble dryers, so you set off dry the next day.
- Private kitchenette: to prepare your energy snacks and meals, on your own schedule.
- Breakfast hung on your door: delivered at the time you choose, so you don’t lose a minute before hitting the road at dawn.
Where the great routes and greenways meet
Our residence is the strategic base for exploring in every direction or for a welcome stopover:
- La Véloscénie travellers: we are right next to this legendary route linking Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel. A perfect stage to recharge your batteries between Versailles and Rambouillet.
- Rollerblade and scooter tourers: enjoy the smooth surfaces of the valley’s cycle paths and greenways for long gliding sessions in the heart of nature.
- Motorbike road trips and alternative cycling: direct, easy access for groups of motorcyclists and clubs riding tandems, recumbents or cargo bikes.
Dedicated services to look after your kit
Because travelling with specialist equipment calls for the right logistics, we do everything we can to make life easier for you:
- Secure shelter and XXL spaces: secure underground parking and a locked room for your bikes and gliding equipment. Bulky machines (tandems, handbikes, cargo bikes) fit in easily, and your motorbikes and support vehicles park in complete peace of mind within the residence’s enclosed grounds.
- Cleaning area: under cover, in the underground car park, with a bucket of water freely available to rinse off forest mud or road dust. You can repair and pamper your bikes, motorbikes and co there, in the dry.
- Bike hire: arrived on foot, on rollerblades or by motorbike? Hire bikes from our partners — Cyril M. and his team will give you their best contact.
